1st race – (4) Yamato owns a win at today’s 1 1/2-mile distance and should prove best here. (7) High Tide has some late kick and may like today’s distance. (5) Winners Club comes off a sharp maiden win and should be a factor here. (1) Tallestofthetall might perk up while switching back to turf. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-7. Exactas: 4-7 over 1-5 and 1-5 over 4-7.

3rd race – (10) Realm of Law rallied for third in a sprint in his debut and, even after a seven-month layoff, seems ready for a winning effort here. (6) Win Worthy was a game second in his debut and looks like the one to fear. (11) City Tavern has a rough post but should improve off his debut. (4) Emphasize should be more competitive on turf. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-6-10-11.

5th race – (3) Snow House dropped back then re-rallied to finish third in his debut. Should benefit from that experience and break his maiden here. (7) Pregame was an improved third in his turf debut and figures to be the main rival. (12) King of Miami adds blinkers for this trip and merits attention. (8) Dance Some Mo was second last time at Tampa and should be a contender here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-7-8-12.

7th race – (9) Tiz Splendid News (C) dropped from 3-1 to 2-1 but settled for second. Should prevail in this spot. (2) Reina Del Sol won nicely in a Tampa maiden race and should be the main danger. (6) Viburnum was hurt by a wide trip and could be more of a threat here. (7) Go Big Green was a good third in her first try against winners and might be a presence here. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-6-7-9. Doubles: 2-6-7-9 with 1-4-10-11.

8th race – (1) Fine Prospecture makes her debut for Ward and can win at first asking. (10) Watermark should appreciate a switch to dirt and deserves consideration. (11) Tesorina will be better suited by the shorter distance and a dry track. (4) Cardioversion is worth a look at this level. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-10-11.
