2nd race – (10) Wico worked fast from the gate for Ward in preparation for this and merits top billing. (4) Andthewinneris could be set for a big effort in his debut. (11) Uncle Headley also debuts for Ward and could be a factor. (8) Mabuhay may be a runner on turf. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-8-10-11.

4th race – (7) High Fair (B) didn’t seem to care for Tapeta and should wake up back on dirt. (2) J Zertz returns to a claimer and can be a main contender. (8) Nana’s Gray deserves attention off the Sharp claim. (6) Gigablast has enough speed to explode in this field. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-6-7-8.

6th race – (1) Patna was a wide third in her debut and should respond with a better try today. Runs in an entry with (1A) Chaberton. (12) Beauxs Artes was second at Aqueduct in her debut and looks like the one to fear. (4) Pillbox is working smartly for her debut and should not be overlooked. (11) Ulikeapples has speed and may not look back here. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-11-12. Doubles: 1-4-11-12 with 1-2-4-10.

7th race – (10) Whenthedawnbreaks missed by a neck last time and can make amends for that loss here. (4) Two Socks is worth a long look in her U.S. debut. The (1) entry of Shad Nation and Schlofmitz can make its presence felt here. (2) Bravo Kitten will benefit from a rail trip. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-10.  

9th race – (7) Polyglot should be poised for a big effort in his career debut. (5) Lord Zed looks like the one to fear. (6) Mighty Sea could find smooth sailing here. (1) Blue Devil should appreciate the stretchout to two turns. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6-7.
