1st race – (4) Kimora (D) dropped from 5-2 to 9-5 in her first try against claimers then pressed the pace before tiring in the stretch. Should make amends here at a lower claiming level. (5) Overdressed returns to the claiming ranks and should be a main threat. (10) Happygobucky moves from turf to dirt and will be tough against claimers. (6) Trumpet Lilly is a firster who merits attention. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-6-10. Doubles: 4-5-6-10 with 1-2-5-7.

2nd race - (2) Laddie Boy is in sharp form and should work out a winning trip from an inside post. (1) Coworker will be a factor off the Barkley claim. (7) Woopigsooie should be competitive here against this group. (5) Ransack is worth a look switching to turf. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2. Exactas: 1-2 over 5-7 and 5-7 over 1-2.

6th race – (10) Red Light Racer is a firster for Chad who should turn in a solid effort in her debut. (9) Rearrange will appreciate a return to a two-turn distance. (2) Better With Age should be competitive in this spot. (12) Madison Parc fits in with this group but has a tough post. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-9-10-12.

8th race – (1) Coastal Defense (C) was bet down from 9-5 all the way to 6-5 and posted an easy front-running win. Could lead from start-to-finish here. (10) Aurelius Maximus seeks a third straight win and looks like a major player. (8) Tax has been idle for five months but will be a major threat off his best try. (6) Mr Freeze has been racing against top-notch company and seems capable of a better effort here. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-6-8-10. Doubles: 1-6-8-10 with 2-3-4-8.

9th race – (4) Magic Attitude turned in an impressive U.S. debut and will be hard to beat off a similar try. (8) California Kook ships in from California after a troubled trip and merits respect. (2) Sweet Melania missed by a nose last time and will be dangerous here. (3) Antoinette was second behind the top pick last time and will be in the picture once again. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-8.
