1st race – (3) Italian Twin returns to the main track and should prove best here. (1) Taptime might appreciate the added distance. (5) Beyond a Million won by a mile against cheaper and deserves a look here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-5. Doubles: 1-3-5 with 3-5-6-8.

2nd race – (5) Waters of Merom drops into a claimer and can post a maiden win against this bunch. (8) Redrightreturning might perk up back on dirt. (6) Mizhipzletus moves over to the main track and is worth a look. (3) Luckywise should fare better against claimers. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6-8.

6th race – (5) All Choked Up is interesting first-time starter who is working nicely for his debut. (2) Almanzo had a mediocre debut and may take a step forward here. (8) Mr. Yasuda is another firster who could be a contender. (6) Malibu Mike put in a fast gate work and seems on edge for his debut. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5-6-8. Doubles: 2-5-6-8 with 1-2-5-12.

7th race – (1) Bella Conchita was an improved second last time and should handle this group. Runs in an entry with Lady Brielle, who will need some scratches to run. (12) Fast as Flight was second and third in her first two starts and looks like the main rival. (5) Fleeting Glimpse  gets a distance that seems to suit her. (2) English Treasure was a good third in her debut and merits attention. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-12.

9th race – (7) Malthael (A) missed by a nose last time in a sharp effort and should make amends here. (2) Cibolian disappointed in her last try but can bounce back here. (6) Intraday is moving in the right direction and fits nicely here. (1) Fantasioso should get a ground-saving trip and will be a main threat in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-6-7.
