3rd race – (3) Go West (D) was bet down from 7-2 to 5-2 then showed brief speed before fading in his debut. Might hang on here. (7) Charlie Five O is an interesting firster from Asmussen. (1) Fieldstone can also make his presence felt in his debut. (4) Fire Sword also seems ready for a sharp effort in his debut. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-7. Exactas: 3-7 over 1-4 and 1-4 over 3-7.

5th race - (1) Mystic Night is training sharply for his debut and gets the nod here. (5) Extreme Force makes his debut for Asmussen and seems ready for a good effort. (7) Fastly missed by a head and belongs in the exotics. (2) Ready to Answer put in a sharp gate work for this and seems formidable. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-7.

7th race – (1) Don Bourbon (B) was steadied on the first turn but still managed to finish second. Should work out a winning trip from the rail. (2) Glory Road was third behind the top pick and could be the main rival once again. (9) Spa City debuts for Cox after a freshening and will be dangerous off his best try. (3) Mister Candy Ride might wake up in this spot. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-9. Doubles: 1-2-3-9 with 1-2-5-6. Pick 3: 1-2-3-9 with 1-2-5-6 with 3-6-7-8.

8th race – (2) Red Knight was second in two of his last three starts and seems due for a winning effort here. (5) Big Agenda seeks a third straight win and cannot be ignored. (6) Aquaphobia exits Grade 1 stakes and will be a force here. (1) Postulation could be hard to catch from the rail. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-6. Doubles: 1-2-5-6 with 3-6-7-8.

9th race – (8) Cash Now returns to claimers and finds a level where he should be tough to beat. (7) Major Attraction seems poised for a big effort back in a claimer. (6) Irish Spirit moves up after finishing a game second and fits in nicely here. (3) Street Class should be a top contender against this group. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-6-7-8.
