1st race – (8) Only Reward’s has been first or second in her last four starts and looks best in this spot. (7) Mis Elain E Us comes off an easy win and should be the main rival. (4) Kitty’s Promise has a strong turn of early speed and could be tough to catch. (3) Diva Banker fits in well here. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-7-8.

4th race – (3) Machismo (C) was bet down from even money to 3-5 and settled for second after setting the pace last time, but may not look back here. (5) Beverly Park won earlier in the meet and looks like the one to fear. (4) Cave Run rallied late to grab third. Adds Lasix and moves back to dirt off the Sharp claim. Should be a factor here. (8) Cove Blue was a decisive winner last time and can make his presence felt. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-8. Doubles: 3-4-5-8 with 1-2-9-11.

5th race – (9) Rare Stripe was hurt by a wide trip last time and can make amends here. (2) American Diamond rallied for third and should enjoy the added distance. (1) Brown Delivers makes his U.S. debut for Brisset and merits respect. (11) Road Aboard might turn in a solid effort in his debut. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-9-11.

7th race – (1) More Than Usual rallied wide and then lacked a bid late. Should bounce back from the rail. (6) Three Flamingos gets some class relief here and can respond with a big effort. (12) Vividly won by a nose last time but landed a tough post here. (2) Elke Do Jaguarete might be a factor in this field. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-6-12. Doubles: 1-2-6-12 with 2-6-7-11.

8th race – (6) Malibu Marie flopped on a wet track but can revert to top form on a dry surface in a claimer. (11) Miracle Mischief might wake up on dirt. (2) Miss Remmia is a firster who deserves attention here. (7) Triple P was a good second in her debut and can be a threat here for a higher claiming tag. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-6-7-11.
