1st race – (3) Chasing Rainbows was a good second at Indianapolis and should be able to handle this field. (5) Flint Ridge takes enough of a class drop to be a factor here. (6) Mahaamel flopped last time but can rebound here. (2) Lucky Boss should respond to a switch to dirt. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-6.

3rd race – (2) One Giant Leap is an interesting firster from Ward who should be tough to handle. (6) Coal Boss might be more competitive in a claimer. (3) Golden Bandit figures to be more of a threat in a claimer. (9) Hill of Tara ships in from California and is worth a look. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6-9. Doubles: 2-3-6-9 with 1-2-5-9.

4th race – (1) Cees Get Degrees is a California import who should take a step forward on turf. (5) Runaway Harry looks like the one to catch in this spot. (9) Burninhunkoflove might wake up in a claimer. (2) Mr. Thunderstruck enters off a win at Prairie Meadows and deserves some attention. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-9.

6th race – (2) Scarlet Stripe (A) was an improved second last time and should prevail here. (4) Sunny River was second in her last three starts and will be the main rival. (3) Parents Pride gets Irad and merits consideration. (6) Seize the Marquet could be a contender in her debut. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-6. Doubles: 2-3-4-6 with 3-4-6-7.

7th race – (6) Key of Life (C) dropped from 6-5 to 4-5 and won easily. Can make it three straight wins against this field. (3) Baby Got Backspin has been second in all three starts and belongs in the exotics. (4) Two Minute Drill should be a main threat here. (7) Take Charge Briana will appreciate the turnback to a sprint. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-6-7.
