2nd race – (3) Pearl Earring was an improved second at Monmouth and should be able to handle this field. (11) Bee Right rallied for third last time and will be a main factor. (2) Poronui was third in her debut and will be a factor here on turf. (4) Bella Astern put in a nice work after finishing fourth in her debut and merits attention. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-11.

4th race – (8) Temper Time (B) was a clear second last time and seems overdue for a maiden win. (1) Surrealist should be a threat from the rail after finishing third behind the top choice. (4) Dalida may wake up here after a poor effort last time. (7) Closet Shopper was fourth behind the top two picks and should be in the picture. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-7-8. Doubles: 1-4-7-8 with 1-2-5-6.

5th race – (1) Sparkle Blue rallied wide for fourth in a stakes and will benefit from a rail trip here. (6) Decree of Love won nicely at Kentucky Downs and should not be ignored here. (5) Yin and Yang has sone early speed and may be tough to catch. (2) Kneesnhips will be charging in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-6.

7th race – The Bowman Hill Stakes - (2) Chattalot (A) won impressively in an allowance race and seems ready for stakes company. (7) My Prankster didn’t fire in a Grade 1 stakes but should bounce back here. (4) Nakatomi was a good second last time and will be battling to the end. (6) Freelancer got off to a slow start last time and can take a step forward in this spot. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-6-7.

9th race – The Hagyard Fayette - (6) King Fury is a 3-year-old on the upswing and gets the nod to prevail here. (1) Sleepy Eyes Todd has enough speed to work out a good trip from the rail. (7) Code of Honor has plenty of back class and cannot be ignored. (5) Independence Hall will be a main contender off his best try. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6-7.
