st race – (6) House Limit (C) dropped from 5-1 to 7-2 and then beat a heavily favored foe. Was claimed by Diodoro out of that race and should prevail here. (5) Walkoff returns to a claimer and will be a main threat. (2) Admire could be tough to catch in a small field. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5-6.

rd race - (4) Knicks Go turned in a big effort in his first start for Cox but hasn’t raced since February. He’s working like he’s ready for another sharp effort. (3) Proverb was an easy winner at Ellis Park and fits well here. (5) Casino Star had a useful comeback start and should move forward. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5.

th race – (3) Wink was shipped to France and finished second in a Group 3 stakes. International traveler looks best in this spot. (5) Golden Pal is very speedy and could be the one to fear. (6) Good With People ships in after some sharp tries against California-breds and merits some attention. (4) Roderick rounds out a strong hand for Ward, who also trains the top two picks. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-6.

th race – (1) Indy Tourist rallied to finish third in a Kentucky Downs stakes and should relish the added distance. (4) Into the Sunrise looks like the one they will have to catch in the stretch. (10) Mutasaabeq was third in the Grade 1 Hopeful and might like turf. (5) Private Island should be closing quickly at the end. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-10. Doubles: 1-4-5-10 with 2-3-4.

th race – (3) Shedaresthedevil was an impressive winner of the Kentucky Oaks and seems ready for the challenge of facing older fillies and mares. (2) Ollie’s Candy has turned in a strong of solid efforts in Grade 1 stakes and stands as the one to fear. (4) Our Super Freak could work out a good trip and be a stretch threat. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4.
