Keeneland Sales Graduates Dominate Field for Grade 3 Lecomte

Keeneland sales alumni comprise 11 of the 14 sophomores entered for the Lecomte (G3) on Saturday at Fair Grounds, a prep on the 2020 Road to the Kentucky Derby (G1).

The Lecomte marks the stakes debut for talented allowance winner Lynn’s Map and for Mr. Monomoy, a half-brother to champion Monomoy Girl. Other prominent entries include Coronation Futurity winner Halo Again and Enforceable, third in Keeneland’s Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity (G1) last fall. 

On the same Fair Grounds card, Keeneland sales alumni and Grade 3 winners Silver Dust, My Boy Jack and Blended Citizen go postward in the Louisiana (G3). His Glory and Portrait, second and third, respectively, in the Pocahontas (G2) last fall, seek points on the Road to the Kentucky Oaks (G1) in the Silverbulletday.
