Keeneland September Sale Graduates Dominate Grade 1 Whitney Field

Keeneland sales are represented by three of the five contenders in a small but spectacular field for Saturday’s Whitney (G1) at Saratoga, a “Win & You’re In” event for the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1). Knicks Go, a three-time Grade 1 winner and earner of more than $4.8 million, is the morning-line favorite for the Whitney. Reigning champion 3-year-old filly and classic winner Swiss Skydiver will challenge males, among them Silver State, whose six-race win streak includes the Hill ‘n’ Dale Metropolitan (G1) in June.

On the Whitney undercard, Search Results, winner of the Acorn (G1) in her last start, headlines the Test (G1). Grade 2 winner Du Jour and Group 3-placed Secret Protector highlight entries for the Saratoga Derby Invitational (G1).
