2nd race – (12) Ransack had some past success here and should be a tough customer with this group. (2) Alien Season seems eligible for a good effort here. (8) Victory Element might hang on in this field. (9) Woman With a Book debits for a new barn and might be a contender. Betting strategy: 12 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-8-9-12.

4th race - (4) Sorrentina Lemon makes her 2020 debut and seems on edge for a big try. (3) Sold It debuts with Maker and should not be overlooked. (7) Offspring looks like the one to catch in the stretch. (6) Summer in Saratoga might like it here at Kentucky Downs. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-6-7. Doubles: 3-4-6-7 with 4-9-10-11.

5th race – (11) Aficionado was a solid second at Gulfstream Park and will be dangerous if he can duplicate that try. (9) Justinthenickoftime was second in his last three tries and seems a good bet for the exacta again. (4) Chocolate Bar has enough speed to be a major force here. (10) Mantra will be a main factor in the final furlong.  Betting strategy: 11 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-9-10-11.

7th race – (5) Sequin seems ready for a gate-to-wire victory in this spot for Ward. (12) Star Command adds Lasix and might wake up. (2) American Goddess gives Ward a powerful hand in this race. (7) Ship’s Creek missed by a head and cannot be overlooked. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5-7-12.

9th race – (9) Kinenos has the breeding and late-running style to handle this assignment. (10) Angelus Warrior gets Irad and will be a key contender for Maker. (2) Shamrocket belongs in the exotics. (6) Peace Achieved was a stakes winner here last year and merits attention. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-6-9-10.
