1st race – (7) Telephone Talker makes his debut for Maker and should appreciate a return to turf. (2) Treasury was washed off the turf last time and is worth a look here. (4) Bakers Boy was gelded and might turn in a better effort. (5) Joyful Surprise has speed and looks like the one to catch. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-5-7.

4th race - (5) Zero to Sixty was impressive debut winner for Maker and can handle winners here. (8) Jades Gelly exits some tough starter races and could figure in the outcome. (7) Moravia had a useful comeback race and promises to be a main factor. (6) Ununderstandable has enough speed to be a major factor. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6-7-8.

7th race – (5) By Your Side (B) had a rough trip when third last time at Ellis Park and should make amends here. (4) Hay Dakota shapes up as the one to fear. (7) Power End should welcome the added ground. (1) Mishko seems to be working well for this start. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5. Exactas: 4-5 over 1-7 and 1-7 over 4-5.

9th race – (3) Mrs. Sippy missed by a neck in her first start in nine months and should move forward off that try. (4) English Affair will be a main threat in the final furlong. (2) Theodora B. will be tough to catch in a small field. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4.

10th race – (5) Herald Angel was a game second in his debut and should not be ignored in this stakes. (3) Red Ghost has a big burst of speed and will be rough to catch. (6) Kewpie Doll might appreciate this distance. (10) La Libertee might be a key contender in this field. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6-10.
