1st race – (3) Morocco was claimed out of his last race by Asmussen after a wide trip. He owns a win over the course and looks best here. (2) Digital Footprint is worth a long look off the Maker claim. (8) Lost in Limbo should perk up while returning to turf and tackling claimers. (10) Bobby Baby returns to turf, where he posted his last victory. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-8-10.

4th race – (5) The Last Zip won his last two starts for Maker and is nicely spotted to make it three in a row. (8) Don’task Don’ttell was a decisive winner last time and looks like the one to fear. (9) Max K.O. missed by a nose last time and will be a main factor here. (4) Shortlist was second in his last two starts and should be a main contender. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-8-9.

7th race – (4) Empress Eleanor was a solid second last time and seems primed for a big effort here. (2) Jezebel’s Kitten has a solid late kick and will be a factor in this field. (12) Stand Tall might be able to work out a good trip over this course. (3) Enjoyitwhilewecan could wake up in this spot. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-12. Doubles: 2-3-4-12 with 3-4-9-10. Pick 3: 2-3-4-12 with 3-4-9-10 with 2-7-8-10.

8th race – (9) Forty Under was an impressive winner at Saratoga and should be tough to catch here. (4) Kentucky Ghost missed by a head last time and looks like the one to fear. (10) Hierachy exits a stakes and fits in well with this group. (3) Beat Le Bon ships in from Europe and should like the course.  Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-9-10. Doubles: 3-4-9-10 with 2-7-8-10.

9th race – (8) Snapper Sinclair has two wins and a second in three starts at Kentucky Downs. He gets the nod here in a competitive field. (7) Majestic Eagle ships in from California in sharp form and cannot be ignored. (10) Penalty has a late-running stye that should work out well here. (2) Mr Dumas had a useful try after a layoff and can move forward here. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-7-8-10.
