rd race [Top Flight Invitational, 1 1/8 mi] – (4) Spiked (B) gets an excuse for her last race where she broke through the gate and showed little. In her prior start she was third in the Heavenly Prize. (1) Comparative was not able to get her usual position on the pace after facing traffic in the first turn of the Azeri (G2). Prior to that, she won three races in a row including two stakes. (3) Tizzy in the Sky got checks in her three recent stakes races. (5) Movie Moxy finished ahead of the Hot List horse in the Heavenly Prize.

th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (3) Sendara (C) was bet down from 9-2 to 3-1 as she dropped into a maiden claimer and finished third after a very wide trip. (6) Call Her Bluff did not appreciate the muddy and sealed track last time having run second in her prior start on a fast track. (5) Book of Wisdom finished in the top three in all but one of her seven career starts and changes to the Linda Rice barn now. (8) Island Fox will make her debut for the Clement barn and sold for $150,000 as a yearling sired by a $10,000 fee stallion.

th race [New York Stallion Series, 6 ½ F] – (4) Antonio of Venice has won two NY-bred stakes races already including last time in the Damon Runyan by more than nine-lengths and was geared down at the end. (7) Doc Sullivan was second in February in a state-bred stakes after a rough trip. (3) Heavyweight Champs was second in her first career start which was in one of these Stallion Series stakes and then broke her maiden last time by almost seven lengths. (2) Freedsdale was a debut winner for Linda Rice just 10 days ago.

th race [New York Stallion Series, 6 ½ F] – (8) Sunday Girl (B) was a debut winner in February by more than seven lengths at 9-2. (4) Fast and Frisky (C) took a ton of late money going from 8-1 to 7-2 and then finished second in her first try against winners. (6) Sohana (B) set the pace and jumped a tire track in mid-stretch to finish second behind a horse that came back to win a state-bred stakes. (7) My Shea D Lady has been off since winning a NY Stallion Series stakes in December.

Best bets: Antonio of Venice (5th); Sunday Girl (8th). Best value: Spiked (3rd); Sendara (4th).
