3rd race [Clm 16000 N2L, 6F] – (4) Masterwork (B) steadied back to last at the start and rallied wide throughout the race to get third. (3) Final Denile drops in for a tag for the first time after racing against NY-breds where he won a maiden special weight and then tried allowances. (6) Gentle Breeze moves from turf to dirt and takes a drop in class. (7) Freeze Pop was claimed in Kentucky in June after a third-place finish and drops down to the lowest level of his career.

4th race [NY, Alw 80000 N1X, 6 ½ F] – (1) He’s Got It (A) broke slowly, steadied back to last, and rallied for third. (5) Two for Charging moves back to NY-bred company after hitting the board three times with 2 wins in claimers. (8) Refuah finished second or third six times in eight starts and was claimed twice. (6) Brick Ambush was off from June to October and has several performances that make him a contender in this field.

5th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (6) Cara’s Dreamweaver (A) moved from turf to dirt, got impeded and checked, and finished fourth with courage. (4) Lady Wisdom moved from turf to dirt after a layoff and finished second and now goes back to the main track. (2) Willful Mama has a pair of seconds on the turf in her last two starts. (8) Dreamworkin moves back to the dirt for the red hot barn of Richard Dutrow Jr.

6th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (10) Executive Move (A) got jostled, raced wide, and finished second well clear of the rest of the field. (9) D C Boy’s was third in August Saratoga in race that was meant for the turf and comes back from a layoff since then. (8) Van Vollenhoven debuted on the turf against open company and ran fourth after pressing the pace. (2) Iron Man Ira was third after a three month layoff for that Dutrow barn.

Best bets: Cara’s Dreamweaver (5th); Executive Move (6th). Best value: Masterwork (3rd); He’s Got It (4th)
