rd race [NY, OC80k/N1X, 6F] – (2) P Mutter Pickle (A) was yet another impressive debut winner for freshman sire Vino Rosso. She won by more than eight lengths last month and was geared down. (1) Concerti returns from an August layoff following a NY-bred stakes where something went wrong. She broke her maiden at Saratoga in her first start by three lengths. (5) Unicorn Cake was also a debut winner and then ran in three state-bred stakes and picked up a pair of third-place finishes. (6) Bernietakescharge moved from turf to dirt and was an open-length winner of her maiden. Blinkers go on following a fourth in an October stakes.

th race [Alw 50000s 6F] – (7) She’s Awesome was claimed for $40,000 two races back and then was third last month at her starter allowance level. (4) Icy Reply ran second in her last three starts. She has 14 place finishes in 41 starts. (2) Roman Goddess has a similar record to the top choice. She was also claimed by Linda Rice for $40,000 and was third at today’s level in her recent start. (5) Shaman Princess takes the blinkers off for the hot barn of Rudy Rodriguez.

th race [Clm 40000, 6F] – (2) Everyoneloveslinda was a front end winner at this level last time and finds a field today where a slow pace is projected and she could get loose on the lead. (3) Shesalittle Edgy came back from a nine month layoff and drops into an open claimer for the first time. (6) To a T was claimed from her last two starts and last time for $40,000. Linda Rice wins with 26% of her new runners. (5) I’m Buzzy will make her third start since a layoff after an improved finish and speed figure last time.

th race [OC62k/N2X, 7F] – (5) Give Me Kisses (A) was a clear winner of a first-level allowance following an almost year break. (1) Ain’t Broke won an allowance by more than five lengths with a speed figure that tops this field. (2) Mursal was a winner of this same type of race for the hot barn of Rick Dutrow Jr. (4) Downtown Mischief returns from a July layoff. Earlier in the year she won the first three races of her career at Aqueduct including the Cicada.

Best bets: P Mutter Pickle (3rd); She’s Awesome (4th). Best Value: Everyoneloveslinda (5th); Give Me Kisses (6th).
