1st race [Md 40000, 7F] – (3) She’s Wicked Smart (B) came back from a layoff, had the lead, finished second by a nose, and was much the best of the rest. (5) Panthea shows two bullet workouts in preparation for her first start for a hot New York trainer. (2) Looking for Ginny was claimed in August after rallying late for second and now makes her first start for the new barn. (1) Park Avenue Betty set the pace and finished second on the turf in October.

6th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 7F] – (1A) Roofer (B) broke slowly in her debut, swung out six wide, and finished fifth in a full field of 12. (7) Volatile Situation ran twice in his career and finished second twice. (9) Dear Chairman was second in his first race which was at Parx. (6) Asset Management stretched out to a mile in his second start and upped his speed figure in a third-place finish.

7th race [NY, OC 80k/N1X, 6F] – (7) Sir Kartrite was a front-end winner of his second start to get the maiden victory. (3) In the Chase was a winner at first asking at Saratoga and since then ran in stakes races only. (5) Friend Ofthe Devil broke his maiden in his third try by more than six lengths back in October. (4) Scheduling Dude won a maiden claimer by more than 11 lengths.

10th race [NY, Md 30000, 1 mi] – (12) Burn Rubber (B) had his head turned at the break and was last, then rushed up to the lead, and held on for third in his second career start. (10) Tiz the Prince has run twice in his career at the $30,000 level and finished second both times including just two weeks ago. (6) Senegal was second last time finishing ahead of the Hot List horse. (8) Landauer moved from turf back to dirt last time and finished third at this $30,000 level.

Best bets: She’s Wicked Smart (1st); Roofer (6th). Best value: Sir Kartrite (7th); Burn Rubber (10th).
