nd race [OC 80k/C, 6F] – (3) Rachel’s Rock is the only confirmed closer in this small field of horses that prefer to race on the lead. (2) Disco Ebo may be the fastest of the speed horses and she ships up to New York from Parx for trainer Butch Reid who has done very well at Aqueduct lately. (1) Quick Munny has the rail and a jockey that excels getting horses out of the gate quickly and onto the lead. (4) Mosienko has plenty of back class and a great record that includes half of her career wins at Aqueduct with five.

th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (8) Brooklyn Dantz (B) raced greenly on the outside in her debut in the early going because of kickback and got third while running on an inside speed favoring track. (9) Starsinthecity will move from turf to dirt after setting the pace last time and finishing second. (1) Five to Two was second in her first start for Linda Rice who does well with second-time runners and those stretching out. (5) Landed was third in her first start at Aqueduct at 7-2 rallying from seventh for Wesley Ward in September and ships up from Keeneland again to face NY-breds.

th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 1/8 mi] – (8) Vin Santo moved from turf to dirt and had his best finish with a third. (7) Malibu Margarita gets blinkers on after running fourth in her debut at 8-1 when she got pushed out wide at the start. (1) Inonit was second in his second start after a layoff with a career best speed figure that tops this field. (6) Brown Don’t Stop made his first start on the dirt, then tried the turf, and now switches back again.

th race [Alw 90000 N1X, 1 mi] – (9) Daddy Knows was fourth following a five month layoff in his first try against open company allowance horses. His last three speed figures were similar and as high as any horse in this field. (7) Drake’s Passage won three state-bred races in a row and then was a close third in an open allowance. (3) Rocco Strong had wide trips in his last two and was third and fourth in this similar type of race. (1) Maker’s Candy won the second-level NY-bred allowance by almost seven-lengths last month at the Big A.

Best bets: Rachel’s Rock (2nd); Vin Santo (7th). Best Value: Brooklyn Dantz (5th); Daddy Know (8th).
