3rd race [NY, Md 30000, 1 mi] – (4) Solo Tonight (B) debuted at 7-2 and rallied after getting blocked at the 3 /16th pole. (8) Judge Rules was in his first start at 6-1 in a maiden special weight. (9) Goldfire also started in a maiden special weight and finished fourth at 9-2. (2) Arco Augusta will make his first start for a tag for a trainer that is winning at 30% with horses that make their first appearance in a claimer.

5th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (6) Doc Sullivan (A) climbed due to kickback in his first career race, had to race wide on a track that was favoring speed, and finished third. (5) Allied Attack had the lead in his second start last month and finished fourth behind a pair that won their next starts. (10) Charles J was fifth in his debut which unusually happened on the turf in an allowance race at Laurel. (7) Slow Down Big Andy will make his first start for a trainer that has been doing quite well with is debut runners and is having an outstanding meeting.

7th race [OC62k/N2X, 1 mi] – (6) Guntown ran one of his best speed figures when he rallied for second after racing on that Dec. 2 track that favored horses on the lead. (1A) Life Changer returned from a five month layoff to get second and was claimed for $50,000. He finished in the top three in his last 11 races with three victories. (8) Power Seeker was a winner in his second start of the year in a first-level allowance for Linda Rice. (9) Ducale came back from six month layoff with two starts at today’s allowance level and was third last time.

8th race [NY, Alw 75000 N1X, 6F] – (1) Scoring Chance (A) drew off to win her debut by almost five lengths last month at Aqueduct. (5) Lady Mine comes back from a six month break after a pair of wins against open company. (4) True Express is the winner of 5 out of her last 6 starts which were at Finger Lakes but she is past winner at Aqueduct three times. (3) Harlan’s Bond was second in her last two races including a $50,000 claimer against open company.

Best bets: Solo Tonight (3rd); Doc Sullivan (5th). Best Value: Guntown (7th); Scoring Chance (8th)
