2nd race [Clm 25000, 6F] – (5) Thinkaboutit (B) finished second in a $50,000 claimer after a troubled trip. He was claimed four times since February. (3) Poppy’s Pride has been running against horses that were return winners and had a victory at today’s level two races back. (1) Commanding General moves from turf back to dirt which is his best surface where he won a second-level allowance at Pimlico. (4) Prince James was claimed from his last five starts which includes twice by current trainer Ray Handal.

3rd race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/8 mi] – (7) Regulatory Risk made a huge improvement in start number two when she was second at Keeneland and blinkers go on now. (3) Martingale was fourth in her debut behind two horses that came back to win their next starts. (4) Class Act was fourth twice at Churchill Downs and had a much better race when he stretched out to two turns. (5) Celestial Express gets blinkers on for her third start after facing return winners in both of her races.

4th race [Clm 25000B, 1 1/8 mi] – (2) Apollo Rising won a N2L condition after a three-month layoff by more than eight lengths and ships up from Kentucky now. (6) Thistle will drop into an open claimer for the first time in his career after racing at Parx recently. (5) Complete Agenda was claimed from his last two races with a third-place finish at this level. (7) Strong Light also has a third at this level two races back.

5th race [NY, OC45k/N2X, 1 mi] – (2) Sister Linda came back from a layoff with a second and a first against open company claimers. (3) April Antics tried the Empire Classic last time and drops back to the state-bred allowance level where she has three second-place finishes and a win. (5) Golden Rocket raced exclusively on the turf this year with six starts with a pair of seconds but she has run well on the dirt. (1) Cinderella’s Cause returns from an August layoff and had four top three finishes in NY-bred allowances.

Best bets: Thinkaboutit (2nd); Apollo Rising (4th). Best Value: Regulatory Risk (3rd); Sister Linda (5th).
