4th race [Clm 16000 N2L, 7F] – (4) Brisky Frolic set the pace in a $25,000 N2L race last month, finished fourth, got claimed, and now makes her first start for the new trainer. (6) Freudian will make her third start following a layoff and gets the blinkers off while dropping down a notch from $25,000. (2) Sweet Sensation has a second and a third at this level in her last two starts, (1) Write This Down was second in a similar spot last time.

5th race [Md 40000, 1 mi] – (1A) Arrebato (B) pressed the pace in his first start, finished second well ahead of the rest of the field, and blinkers come off. (4) Excess Demand will make his debut for the team of Chad Brown and William Lawrence. (5) Nieuwendyk has three third-place finishes including last time when he set the pace going the mile distance. (7) Sixwillberich returns from a layoff as a new gelding with Lasix for the first time after being well bet in his first two starts and drops down from a $75,000 claimer.

6th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6 ½ F] – (2) Launch Control (A) set the pace and lost by a head in his first start for Todd Pletcher at odds of 3-1. (4) Electric Stuff was third in his debut for George Weaver with a closing move on a muddy sealed track. (3) Chalky Cat was fourth in the same race as the top two choices described above. (5) Nineteen Oysters will make his first start for Gold Square as a son of Bolt d’Oro.

7th race [Alw 50000s, 1 mi] – (1) Sa Foradada (C) was bet down from 7-1 to 5-1 and now has three second-place finishes in a row at his level. Last time on a sloppy and sealed track she raced wide as she rallied from off the pace. (1A) Ughrouda set the pace to break her maiden by more than 10 lengths at Parx Racing, (2) Save Grace was claimed for $40,000 back in November for Mike Maker when she finished second in a N2L condition. (5) Vodkatini ships up to Aqueduct after winning a N2L condition at Laurel Park while racing on the lead. (6) Seahorse d’Oro returns from a December layoff as ships up from Parx.

Best bets:  Brisky Frolic (4th); Launch Control (6th). Best value:  Arrebato (5th); Sa Foradada (7th).
