th race [NY, Alw 72000 N1X, 6F] – (7) Grannys Connection (A) won an open company maiden special weight by more than six lengths after running second in her debut against NY-breds. (1) Royal Currency broke her maiden in November and since then has a pair of second-place finishes at this level. (3) Jet Set Juliet had the lead, finished third last time, and now changes barns. (2) Bern Rosey Bern won a $16,000 claimer in December, was claimed, and since then made one start at this level.

th race [Alw 82000 N1X, 6 ½ F] – (7) Kitten’s Appeal has only one finish out of the top three in her seven race career. She had her two best speed figures in her last two races with a maiden win and a neck loss in her first allowance start. (5) Kant Hurry Love won through the NY-bred allowance conditions in her last two races and now moves to the open company allowances. Her two recent speed figures top this field. (9) Captainsdaughter had a pair of third-place finishes in open company since winning both state-bred allowance levels. (6) Baba won a $40,000 open claimer in her last start.

th race [Stymie, 1 mi] – (2) Far Mo Power won a top level allowance in his first start of the year after winning the Parx Dirt Mile last year ahead of Mind Control but was disqualified after they bumped down the stretch. He also won a PA-bred stakes race. (3) Repo Rocks won his third race in a row when he upset the Toboggan (G3) by eight-lengths at 10-1 earning a 111 Beyer Speed Figure. He will have to stretch out to a mile from that huge seven-furlong victory. (1) Bourbonic ran the fastest speed figure of his career when he won a second-level allowance. He could be getting back to the form that won the Wood Memorial for him. (6) Miles D was a promising 3-year-old that was second in the Curlin and then third in the Travers (G1). Since then he made one start in 2022 and then tried the Fred Hooper (G3) at Gulfstream Park after almost a year layoff.

th race [Md 20000, 7F] – (3) Dads Good Runner returned from a June layoff to run second at this level after having the lead in the stretch. (2) Threethirtythree was third just a neck from the win in his first start at Aqueduct after two starts at Parx in maiden special weights. (8) My Boy Colton moves to the barn of Jamie Ness who wins with 33% of the horses new to his barn and won with both of his starters at this Aqueduct meeting. (7) Equalizer made one start at Monmouth Park at odds of 5-1 in a maiden special weight and now comes back as a new gelding for a trainer that is very good starting fresh horses.

Best bets: Grannys Connection (5th); Kitten’s Appeal (7th). Best value: Far Mo Power (8th); Dads Good Runner (9th).
