1st race [Clm 25000 N2L, 1 mi] – (3) Memphis (A) pressed the pace but was forced to go 10-wide, dropped back, but then was able to rally to get third. (4) Screw Loose broke his maiden two races back by nine lengths for a $30,000 tag and then tried a starter allowance. (2) South Street has three second-place finishes in a row racing at the N2L condition. (1A) Mudville Nine was third two races back on a fast track and got claimed after which he stepped up in class and caught a muddy track.

6th race [Md Sp Wt, 7F] – (1) Misintention (B) got squeezed back at the start last time and then had to alter course to get out of tight quarters but still finished third. (2) Nyxed moved from turf to dirt, pressed the pace, and just missed the win by a neck. (8) La Girvina has a pair of seconds in three starts, gets blinkers on now, and is projected to be on the lead. (7) Confirmed Star ships up from Parx where she hit the board three times and was on the lead in the last two.

7th race [OC 62k/N2X, 6F] – (7) Downtown Mischief in the first three starts of her career including the Cicada at Aqueduct in the spring. She just came back from a five-month layoff where she was on the lead. (8) Royal Poppy was second last time at this allowance level. (3) Desert Dalliance pressed the pace and then won a first-level allowance. (2) Stonewall Star returned from a seven-month layoff got to the lead and finished third.

8th race [NY, Md 25000, 6F] – (7) Going for Glory (B) has three career starts with a second on a fast start and then did very little running on two wet tracks. (12) Needed ran his best dirt race running second by a neck after battling down the stretch. (1) No Layups moved from turf to dirt and got an improved finish. Now she gets first-time Lasix as a 3-year-old. (14) Necessaryandproper pressed the pace in all three of her races and is expected to be on the lead.

Best bets: Memphis (1st); Downtown Mischief (7th). Best Value: Misintention (6th); Going for Glory (8th).
