st race [Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (6) Have You Heard (B) got boxed in and steadied at the quarter pole, then rallied to miss the win by a head but was well ahead of the rest of the field. (1) Livehappy has a pair of fourth-place finishes at odds of 4-1. (3) Tuscan Sky was a $200,000 yearling purchase from the first crop of successful sire Vino Rosso and will debut for Todd Pletcher. (5) Ambition is a home-bred son of Street Sense making his first start.

th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (6) Seba M (B) had to check last time and finished third while moving back up to this level. (1) Sahanatien (A) got off to a slow start in his debut in a maiden claimer and rallied for third. (3) Liberty Central began his career with a pair of seconds and then tried a New York Stallion Series race where he made up a ton of ground after a rough trip and got fourth by disqualification. (8) Quiet Wisdom was an odds-on favorite in his last two starts for Pletcher and has used early speed to finish in the top 4 four times. Now the blinkers come off and he gets Lasix for the first time.

th race [Busanda, 1 1/8 mi] – (2) Shimmering Allure is the leading money winner in this field and has seven Kentucky Oaks qualifying points along with a victory in the Tempted at Aqueduct in November. Her last three speed figures are higher then any number from any of the other fillies in the field. The Kenny McPeek runner has been training in New York since the Tempted. (1) Gin Gin has been working in Brad Cox’s Belmont Park barn and will make her first start at the Big A after picking up six Oaks points in her last two starts in Kentucky. (4) Class Act broke her maiden in her third try last month going the nine-furlong distance with a front-end effort for Repole Stable and Pletcher. (5) Princess Mayfair comes to New York after racing at Woodbine in her three starts with a maiden win in a sprint and then a second stretching out in an allowance. She is projected to be the pacesetter in this field of five.

th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (4) The Big Torpedo (B) got bumped and checked and lost all chance to win but was moved up to third by disqualification in a NY Stallion Series stakes race. (8) Dixie Pharoah moved back to the dirt from the turf and ran third last month. He gets first-time Lasix now. (5) Vin Santo was third and second in his last two starts while setting the pace last month and he also gets Lasix. (6) Malibu Margarita took a lot of action in his second start for Rudy Rodriguez.

Best bets: Have You Heard (1st); Shimmering Allure (6th). Best value: Seba M(4th); The Big Torpedo (9th).
