3rd race [Interborough, 7F] – (4) Cara’s Time (D) was bet down from 8-1 to 6-1 as she moved from a victory in a NY-bred stakes race to running fourth in the Garland of Roses against open company. (1) St. Benedict’s Prep missed by a nose in a stakes race at Laurel Park. She finished in the top three in 9 out of her last 12 starts and that includes five wins with four of those going seven furlongs. (7) Socially Selective returned from a 10 month layoff to finish second in the Sugar Swirl at Gulfstream Park. She did not run worse than second in her six career starts. (5) Dame Cinco returns from a June layoff when she won her last two races and moved through her allowance conditions.

5th race [Clm 16000 N2L, 7F] – (6) York Tavern (A) finished third after he ran wide the whole race and tried to rally on a speed favoring track. Blinkers come off and he comes back in a week again and will run for the third time in two weeks. (8) Golden Purchase was second in his last two starts which were at this level and he cuts back from a mile. (2) Mr. Mendelsohn was third in his most recent two races at this level. (1) Aleah Aleah will drop down to the lowest level of his career and has early speed to use as the blinkers go back on.

6th race [OC 45k/N1X, 6F] – (6) Lady Mine (B) raced wide on an inside favoring track in her second start after a layoff and finished third. (1) All Class and (1A) Sarir make a Linda Rice entry where they are both win contenders. (3) Justthefactsjack was last seen in May winning his maiden at Aqueduct in his second start. (5) Striker Has Dial has a tendency to finish second which he has done four times including last month.

9th race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (6) Radauti (A) moved from turf to dirt, rallied from last to second, finished well clear of the rest of the field, and now as a 3-year-old gets Lasix for the first time. (2) Laird of Magnolia (D) was bet down from 7-2 to be the 6-5 favorite as he moved from turf back to dirt. He ran fourth and now changes barns. (1) Tracking Error made his second start three weeks ago and finished second when he stretched out in distance. (8) Hot Spun was second in his debut in one of those $50,000 maiden optional claimers that have been popular in New York this winter.

Best bets:  York Tavern (5th); Radauti (9th). Best Value:  Cara’s Time (3rd); Lady Mine (6th).
