2nd race [NY, Clm 25000, 6F] – (3) Doin’ittherightway (D) was claimed for the third race in a row after getting bet down from 6-1 to 4-1 and finishing a close fourth in a $20,000 open claimer. (2) Bronx Bomber was a front-end winner of his last race and was claimed for $16,000 after getting taken for $25,000 in his prior start. (4) Victory Built is projected to get loose on the lead in his second start of the year after running in a second-level allowance for state-breds. (1) Uno will drop in for a tag for the first time in about a year after running in three first-level allowances.

4th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (1) Shaman Princess (A) debuted in a claimer, tossed her head at the start, had the lead, and finished a close second. After getting an education she will step up in class for start number two. (7) Danseur d’Oro was 3-1 in her Saratoga debut and finished third. In her next start something went wrong and she returns from a July layoff with blinkers on and first-time Lasix. (4) Majestic Return makes her debut for smart connections of Ten Strike Racing and Michelle Giangiulio. (5) Charisse will make her first career start. She is out of a winner of $334,000 who has one winner from one to start.

9th race [Correction, 6F] – (1) Rossa Veloce was claimed for $32,000 at the end of the Saratoga meeting and since then won 3 out of her last 4 starts. She has eight career wins and six of them are at Aqueduct. From the rail she is projected to get a clear early lead. (5) Easy to Bless was a stakes winner at the Big A last year and last month won a third-level allowance with a closing move. (3) Prodigy Doll was fifth in a Grade 3 at Laurel last month following a top-level optional claimer at the Maryland track. (7) Secret Love was a winner in a second-level allowance at Aqueduct in December with a staking trip that would work well with this field.

10th race [NY, Md 25000, 6 ½ F] – (7) Escape Mission (B) broke through the gate but still got to the lead and faded down the stretch. (6) Little Luca showed speed getting the lead in his only two starts that were in maiden special weights. He returns from a December layoff with Lasix for the first time. (10) Central Love has four starts with finishes in the top four in all of them. He will make his second start for Linda Rice with speed figures that make him a contender. (2) Makart has top three finishes in his last four starts at this level after 14 career races.

Best bets: Doin’ittherightway (2nd); Rossa Veloce (9th). Best value: Shaman Princess (4th); Escape Mission (10th).
