nd race [Clm 32000, 1 mi] – (6) First Glimpse (A) got jostled around a few times and dropped back but rallied for third and got claimed. (4) Thunderian gets the blinkers back on since he made two starts after getting claimed for $40,000 and should be loose on the lead. (3) Predicted comes back in two weeks after a four length victory on the front-end in a $14,000 claimer from which he was claimed. (5) Trafalgar will drop into a claimer for the first time since October when he won for a $62,500 tag at Churchill Downs and was claimed by Linda Rice.

rd race [NY, Md 30000, 1 mi] – (6) Malu moved to the barn of Linda Rice following a pair of second place finishes at this level after setting the pace. (4) Jayla will return to NY-bred company for the first time since last summer. (7) Krystalheir will drop into a maiden claimer for the first time in her career. (2) Dramatic Effect has speed figures that say that she is as fast as any other horse in this field.

th race [Alw 82000 N1X, 6 ½ F] – (6) Mandatory has been racing in starter allowances for the most part with a pair of wins in his last two starts. (4) Chileno has been off since September when he was racing at Saratoga and when he won a starter allowance and then had two excellent allowance performances. (2) What’s Up Bro won through the NY-bred allowance conditions for Linda Rice and was third against open company last time. He won 4 out of his last 6 starts. (3) Magic Express won a maiden special weight by almost five lengths in his second start.

th race [Clm 20000, 7F] – (2) Pretty Up was a $30,000 maiden claiming winner against NY-breds and then tried a $32,000 open claimer. (1) Amy’s Light won a $20,000 maiden claimer last time in her second try. This race is an open claimer in the condition book, but the entire field have only one win each making this essentially a N2L race. (7) Bornforgreatness has been off since January when she tried a NY-bred allowance after her maiden win for a $30,000 tag and gets Lasix for the first time. (3) Tavin was claimed two races back for $32,000 and drops back to a more appropriate level.

Best bets: Malu (3rd); Mandatory (4th). Best value: First Glimpse (2nd); Pretty Up (5th).
