st race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (5) Paris Style (A) had to idle in traffic, went wide to find running room, and rallied to get second on a track that was favoring runners on the inside. (2) Dreaming of Mo moved from turf to dirt, got bet to a short price, set the pace and finished fifth. She will get blinkers for the first time. (4) African Waters was the favorite in her debut which was on the turf. She was a $1.2 million yearling purchase. (3) Tooshay registered a pair of seconds in maiden claimers following a layoff.

nd race [Clm 30000 N2L, 6F] – (3) Three Zero (B) moved from turf to a sloppy track where he set the pace and finished second beaten by less than a length. (6) Will Be Famous (B) ran a race much like the top choice going from turf to dirt, getting to the lead, and then ending up a close second. (1) Face Abarrio changes trainers after racing at Laurel Park in a similar claiming race last month and also was on the lead before a place finish. (5) Mudville Nine broke his maiden for a $30,000 tag three races back.

rd race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (5) Munny Grab (B) was beaten in his second start by a very impressive debut winner while finishing well ahead of the rest of the field. (8) Poseidon’s Mist (A) bobbled twice in the turn and still managed to finish second in a maiden claimer. (4) Ekwanok was third in his second start at Saratoga. (1) Miss Bourbon broke last in a 10 horse field on a sloppy track and was able to run sixth.

th race [Clm 35000B, 1 mi] – (7) Racing Colors (B) ran second in a N3L claimer and then was third in a NY-bred allowance while racing wide on an inside favoring track. (6) Vintage ran the two best races of her career during the summer with a pair of victories at Saratoga and Finger Lakes. (8) Amity Island came back from a four-month layoff and rallied to finish second at Aqueduct. (2) Jolly Miss Jill was claimed from a victory in a similar spot for her third win but as a 3-year-old she is still eligible to face older horses that are N3L.

Best bets:  Paris Style (1st); Three Zero (2nd). Best value:  Munny Grab (3rd); Racing Colors (4th).
