1st race [Md Sp Wt, 6 ½ F] – (3) Wajda made a big improvement to run second after his debut against a stellar field that included Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner Fierceness and two return winners. (2) Stolen Magic moved from turf to dirt, set the pace at short odds, and then finished third. (1) Aleah Aleah was sent off as the favorite in his debut where he stopped badly then ran third the entire way around in his second start as a long shot. (6) Sardis is a well-bred first-time starter for Juddmonte and Chad Brown.

2nd race [NY, Md 30000, 1 mi] – (8) Aula moves back to racing against state-breds in his third start after a layoff with a couple of speed figures that top this field. (5) Dudley Dickerson has been racing at Parx but was second the last time he raced against NY-breds at this level. (2) Munny for Nuthin was second last time in a similar spot and is projected to be on the lead early. (3) Wafir will move back to the main track for trainer David Donk.

4th race [Clm 16000 N2L, 6 ½ F] – (1) Bad Larry broke his maiden last start in a claimer with a career best speed figure, moves to the right level to win again, and is projected to be part of the pace. (3) M B’s Munning gained a couple of places and ran third in a similar spot last time. (8) Gun Maestro has three recent second-place finishes in N2L conditioned claimers. (9) Predicted moved to the barn of Jeffrey Englehart and has been racing well in Finger Lakes N2L allowances.

9th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (1A) Turriga (A) is first on the Also Eligible List after getting beaten by a neck in her debut but was well ahead of the rest of the field. (7) Shelly was well bet in both her starts for Chad Brown and was last seen running second at Saratoga with Lasix for the first time. (10) Lady Laoban tried the dirt for the first time, did no running at all, and moves back to the grass. (5) Voleuse has seven top three finishes on both dirt and turf. Last time she closed well from 10th to third.

Best bets:  Aula (2nd); Bad Larry (4th). Best value:  Wajda (1st); Turriga (9th).
