2nd race [Clm 25000 N2L, 7F] – (1) Blue Plate Special won a maiden claimer and then moved up to a $30,000 N2L condition and ran third for Linda Rice who continues to put her horses in winning spots. (6) Fight Fiercely has the best recent speed figures in the field. (4) Deputy Connect set the pace in an N2L claiming race two starts back and finished second. He drops back to that level after trying a tougher spot in a two-turn race. (5) Disappearance won a maiden claimer at Saratoga and then stepped up to a starter allowance.

6th race [Md 20000, 6 ½ F] – (8) Frisky Jim (B) was second in his debut back in May and finished well ahead of the rest of the field. He is likely to be on the lead in here. (2) Whenlovetakesover has several past speed figures that top this field and drops into the lowest level of his career. (3) Little Skippy missed by a neck in a maiden special weight back in May and the blinkers come off. (6) Magic City was claimed for $50,000 at Churchill Downs by Linda Rice in June.

8th race [OC62k/N2X, 1 mi] – (2) I Am the Law was last seen in January after seven races in the top three that included three wins. He is projected to be loose on the lead. (8) Full Screen returned to the main track at Aqueduct last month and ran second the entire race earning a top speed figure. (4) Adero ships up from Parx Racing for John Servis with 5 wins from his last 7 starts. He won his only start at the Big A. (9) Castle Chaos made four starts this year and hit the board in all of them.

9th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (5) Dividend Recap (B) broke last in a field of 12 in her debut and was still able to finish second beaten by only a nose. (1) Alittlebitnaughty finished fourth in his first start at odds of 6-1. (2) Fast and Frisky moved to the turf for her third start, pressed the pace, and finished fourth. (8) Run for Your Honey ran third last time less than two lengths from the top spot.

Best bets:  Blue Plate Special (2nd); Frisky Jim (6th). Best value:  I Am the Law (8th); Dividend Recap (9th).
