(2) Mitole Magic was third in her first start behind the Hot List horse. (8) Fleur Delacour ships to Aqueduct from Presque Isle after running second in her first race for trainer Kevin Race who has had success shipping to the NYRA tracks. (5) Echo Baby was well bet in her debut at Saratoga when she pressed the pace and ended up fourth.

4th race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (8) Akayla (B) came back from a year layoff, was well bet, and finished in second-place when she most likely needed that race. (1) Delahaye was last seen making her debut at Gulfstream Park in February and missed winning by a neck when the jockey lost the whip. (3) War Princess returned from a six month layoff, set the pace at Aqueduct, and finished third. (7) I’m a Sure Thing came back from 10 months away from the races and ran evenly to get a fourth-place finish.

8th race [Tempted, 1 mi] – (4) Enfuega (A) was an easy debut winner by more than four lengths for a trainer that is very good with juveniles. (1) Shimmering Allure needed four tries to break her maiden but then ran fourth in the Alcibiades (G1) at Keeneland. (7) Caitlinhergrtness pressed the pace in her second start for Todd Pletcher, took the lead at the top of the stretch, and held on the win. (2) Caress pressed very fast early fractions in her first start to break her maiden for George Weaver.

9th race [NY, Md 40000, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (1) Arisaema (A) tossed her head at the break putting her last in a 12 horse field and she managed to rally for second. (4) Pinstripepizzo (B) ran the best race in her career when she got pinched back at the start in a field of 11 and finished third. (3) Bomb Squad comes back from a July layoff and drops in for a tag for the first time after a few top three finishes. (2) Jannie Mae hit the board five times at this level.

Best bets:  Agra (1st); Arisaema (9th). Best value:  Akayla (4th); Enfuega (8th).
