1^st race [Md Sp Wt, 6 ½ F] – (4) Save the Queen (C) was bet down from 7-1 to 9-2 in her debut in September for Chad Brown and showed good courage to finish second in a field of eight. (1) Hay Evabody was third and then second in two starts since August for Todd Pletcher. (3) Lucille Ball will make her debut showing some fast workouts for a trainer that is good with firsters. (5) Wind Flower will make her second start for Bill Mott and gets blinkers on.

2^nd race [Md Sp Wt, 7F] – (2) Upstanding finished in the top three in his three starts with fast speed figures. (4) Index Fund came back from a year layoff for Chad Brown and ran second for the entire race. (6) Happy Henry sold for $425,000 as a yearling and gets Flavien Prat for his debut for Brown. (1) Stronsino changes barns and returns from a five month layoff as a new gelding having run well in four previous starts.

4^th race [Md Sp Wt, 6 ½ F] – (2) Tejanita will make her second start for Shug McGaughey after going off at 5-1 in her debut race that included two horses that ran in the Breeders’ Cup. (5) Taratel shows some fast times after working steadily for her first start. (3) Decree and Declare was fourth in her first race as the 5-2 favorite for Brad Cox and blinkers go on. (8) Beauty Reigns is a home-bred with an excellent pedigree making her first start for Bill Mott.

7^th race [Clm 16000B, 6 ½ F] – (4) Collected Special tried the turf in June and now makes a big drop down from victories in a pair of top level starter allowances. (8) Kreesa also makes a big drop in class having run in allowances in his last three races and with a win for a $40,000 tag before that. (5) Devil’s Cay missed by a head last month at this level with a strong closing move. (7) Dads Good Runner won a $25,000 N2L race by almost eight lengths back in June and was away since then.

Best bets: Save the Queen (1^st); Upstanding (2^nd). Best value: Tejanita (4^th); Collected Special (7^th).
