1st race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 5F] – (5) Triple Sweet (B) climbed in her debut, finished third, and blinkers go on for her second start. (4) Carmen’s Candy Jar is a first-time starter and a home-bred for Repole Stable that is trained by Todd Pletcher and will be ridden by Irad Ortiz. (3) Speed and Beauty is a home-bred daughter of Accelerate, trained by Melanie Giddings who had an impressive maiden winner the other day. (7) Amore Sofia is another firster in this field of 2-year-olds. She is trained by Rudy Rodriguez who can win with debut runners.

2nd race [Alw 50000s, 6F] – (6) Borletti is in excellent form with a second by a neck in a starter allowance on the turf last time after a pair of good races on the main track. (5) Tivy has seven top three finishes in a row in these kind of races. (3) Screaming Uncle easily won his last two starts moving through the N2L and N3L claiming conditions. (2) Boss Tweed won a $40,000 maiden claimer by almost 15 lengths last month as an odds-on favorite.

8th race [NY, Dancin Renee, 6F] – (3) Sterling Silver was third in this race last year when she was trained by Tom Albertrani who has since retired. Her last two starts were in Grade 1 races in Kentucky and she will make her first start for Bill Mott. (2) Kant Hurry Love hit the board in 18 out of 21 career races and won this race last year. She has a pair of very close seconds against open company recently. (4) Leeloo raced against open company in her last four starts and finished just behind the top choice that last time that she raced against NY-breds. (5) Security Code won a NY-bred stakes race in February and comes back from a March layoff.

9th race [Md 40000, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (5) True Myth was well bet in her first two starts in maiden special weights. She was entered for the turf last time and gets first-time Lasix. (1) Wake Up Lauren will move back to the grass and in for a tag for the first time after running well three starts this year. (4) Banana Pudding makes her first start for Linda Rice after a steady series of workouts. (8) Magic Eight Ball also moves back to the turf and goes into a claimer for the first time.

Best bets: Borletti (2nd); Sterling Silver (8th). Best value: Triple Sweet (1st); True Myth (9th).
