st race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (5) Pentathlon made a big jump in speed figures from his prior start in October as a 2-year-old and ran third at the Belmont at Saratoga meeting just three weeks ago. (4) Treaty Obligation finished second or third in all six of his races including last month in his first start of this year. (2) Digital Ops debuted in October for Chad Brown but has been off since then. He shows a bullet workout a few days ago and gets Lasix for the first time. (1) Prairie Dunes came back from a 14 month layoff for Bill Mott and will race at Aqueduct for the first time.

nd race [Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (5) Bourbon Serengeti (A) was second in her debut back in December at Aqueduct for Brad Cox at 2-1. She gets first-time Lasix and has been training at Belmont Park for her return. (4) Shop Lifting was second in her first start for Linda Rice last month after having run fourth in a stakes race as a maiden last year. (1) She’s Always Rosie ran second in an April maiden claimer at Keeneland and was claimed by Linda Rice. (6) Cost Containment will make her debut for Chad Brown and Klaravich as a $215,000 son of Good Magic.

rd race [Clm 14000 N3L, 6F] – (1) Irish Jackson won her N2L condition for a $40,000 tag two races back. After trying a starter allowance, she drops to the lowest claiming level of her career. (5) First Class Cat was claimed from a race like this one two starts ago by Linda Rice and then tried the turf in a much tougher spot. (4) Ghostly Girl won the N2L condition and then ran second in a N3L spot after briefly getting the lead. (6) Try It Again was claimed and then hit the board three times in claimers like today’s race.

th race [Alw 25000s, 7F] – (2) Printrack finished in the top three in his last 10 starts with six of them being victories. His last race was in the April, but he continued to workout smartly. (1) Magnolia Midnight has early speed which he used in his last two races in a $50,000 claimer and a starter allowance when he was second. (6) Gun Maestro has three wins in a row where he moved through the restricted claiming conditions and then won for a $10,000 tag. (3) Market Alert ran in a pair of NY-bred claimers and finished first and then second. His last two races were in much higher priced claimers.

Best bets: Pentathlon (1st); Irish Jackson (3rd). Best value: Bourbon Serengeti (2nd); Printrack (5th ).
