st race [Alw 50000s, 6F] – (7) Dillinger finished second in three similar starter allowances pressing the pace each time. (2) Paxsational ran the best race of his career when he won a $50,000 maiden claimer. (1) Tommy Two Socks won a maiden special weight in the Spring and a N2L claimer but had a poor race last time when he raced for purse money only. (5) Forward Move went from turf to dirt and won a N2L claimer last time.

rd race [NY, Alw 80000 N1X, 6F] – (2) Amy’s Light (B) was held too long by her assistant starter and subsequently rallied from last to second but was declared a non-starter. (6) First Class Cat came back to NY-bred competition from a two month layoff and finished second in a similar allowance. (4) Darn That Song has been racing in excellent form at Finger Lakes. (7) Mybronxbaby was third in an allowance like this back in September.

th race [Md Sp Wt, 6F TURF] – (3) Bossy Pants (B) got checked early in the race and fought hard from last while racing very wide. (6) Panache cut back in distance in her third start and missed the win by a neck finishing ahead of the Hot List horse. (9) Tam I Am raced in a pair of turf sprints and finished third and then second as the odds-on favorite. (10) So Darn Pretty set the pace in her debut at 8-1 and now comes back for a trainer that wins at 31% with second-time starters.

th race [Clm 25000, 6F] – (2) Mister J T (B) got squeezed back at the start, raced wide throughout the race from the rear of the field and finished third. He drops back to the level at which he was claimed two races back. (6) Cold as Hell drops back to the level at which he was claimed a few races back and was a winner. (8) Fiery Heart had a recent trainer change and now gets an ideal pace scenario for his late running style. (9) Dot’s Dollar has been racing against much harder fields since he was claimed for $25,000 back in May.

Best bets: Dillinger (1st); Mister J T (6th). Best value: Amy’s Light (3rd); Bossy Pants (5th).
