1st race [Clm 16000B, 6F] – (3) Thank You Jon moves back to the N3L condition where last time he was a pacesetter. (6) Sugar Gray Leonard goes back to the dirt and drops into a claimer for the first time in a year even though both of his wins were on the main track. (1) Quick Hammer and (1A) Magnificent Mile are both win contenders at this level. (8) Devil’s Cay has run well at this level and drops down to a better claiming price also.
3rd race [NY, OC 45k/N2X, 1 1/8 mi] – (6) Brown Suga Babe won his last two starts with one against open company in a starter allowance at Parx and then in the first-level allowance for NY-breds at Aqueduct. (2) Call Her Bluff ran fourth in a NY-bred stakes race after four wins in a row of which two were against open company. (4) April Antics ran three good races during the summer including a third at this level when he returned to state-bred racing. (5) Racing Colors has several top three finishes in this type of allowance.
6th race [Clm 16000 N2L, 6 ½ F] – (9) J D Factor drops into a claimer and a N2L condition for the first time. (1) Conniving won a maiden claimer at Saratoga and then did not appreciate the turf at Aqueduct. (2) Royal King has plenty of early speed and drops back to this level for the first time since March when he was claimed. (6) Chalky Cat drops back to the level at which Linda Rice claimed him.
7th race [Alw 92000 N1X, 1 mi TURF] – (2) Venencia (C) was bet down from 7-1 to 5-1 following a long layoff, got steadied back to last and rallied to get third for Chad Brown. (8) Awesome Czech is a stakes winner against NY-breds and is stakes-placed versus open company with a state-bred allowance win mixed in there. (6) Striker Has Dial has raced five times and finished in the top three each time and the blinkers come off. (1) Brisbane will make her American debut for Chad Brown after a pair of wins in France.
