1st race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 TURF mi] – (6) Catalyzed finished second three times since June for Chad Brown, twice at Monmouth Park and then at Saratoga. (5) Counterintelligence will make her first start for Brown and she is a European bred by Frankel. (1) So Ready is another firster with excellent turf breeding as a daughter of American Pharoah and a European mare by More Than Ready. (4) Just So Pretty set the pace and finished second in her third start.

2nd race [NY, Alw 80000 N1X, 7F] – (1) Poseidon’s Mist (A) got steadied on the backstretch of a dirt sprint at Saratoga, got the lead, finished third, and was claimed for $25,000.  (4) Geopolitics broke her maiden by 10 lengths after running second in five prior starts and was a heavy favorite each time. (6) Miss Lao won a maiden claimer in August and then was claimed for $25,000. (5) Malu won a N2L claimer in July at the Spa and then tried a NY-bred allowance.

4th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (1) Twilight Tango (C) was bet down from 7-1 to 4-1 for her debut last month and finished third in a 12-horse field. (4) Teller to Win was third in her debut race at 7-2 for Jorge ABreu which was at Parx Racing in September. (5) Cha Cha Wren broke last, got far behind at 4-1 but was still able to get third. (2) Pretty Magical was 18-1 at first asking, got rank from kickback, and the first two finishers won their next starts.                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

6th race [Md 20000, 1 mi] – (10) Confabulation was second at this level after a drop down and got claimed from Chad Brown by Linda Rice. (6) Torpedo Run was second in his last two starts after setting the pace for a $25,000 tag at Monmouth. (8) Trulli Warrior will move from turf to dirt and drop down to this level. (5) Bolt d’Plata has five top three finishes, also moves back to the main track, and drops to his lowest level.

Best bets: Catalyzed (1st); Twilight Tango (4th). Best value: Poseidon’s Mist (2nd); Confabulation (6th).
