(6) Swore returned from a year and a half layoff in a maiden race at Delaware Park as the favorite for Graham Motion and finished second rallying late after having to check and getting far behind. (1) Sacred Rhyme finished third in his debut at Monmouth Park behind his stablemate for Chad Brown who came back to win an allowance at Belmont Park. (4) Headline News was fourth in his career start at Pimlico for Jimmy Toner who is an excellent turf trainer.

7th race [OC 62k/N2X, 1 mi] – (4) Guntown was claimed for $50,000 out of a second-place finish from Steve Asmussen by Linda Rice who has been winning with 26% of her new runners. (6) Galt had three good results this year with improving speeds figures following an almost year layoff for Bill Mott. (3) Celestial Moon also runs for Mott and has three good races including a first-level allowance victory.

9th race [Md 75000, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (4) Financial Advice will drop in a claimer in her third start for Chad Brown.
