1st race [Mdn 50000, 7F] – (1) Itza Dream (D) was bet down from 7-1 to 5-1 for her debut and got off to a slow start on a speed favoring track. (3) Antenna broke slowly in her first start at Monmouth Park and rallied to finish second by a head. Her next start at Saratoga came in a much tougher field that was won by a filly that went on to take the Frizette (G1). (6) Extra Duty was fourth in her career debut at Saratoga at 8-1 for Chad Brown behind a return winner. (5) By the Glass is a first-time starter by Vino Rosso whose first crop of horses has been getting to the winner’s circle.
3rd race [Clm 16000, 6F] – (1) Saint Selby (D) had the lead early and was a voided claim for $45,000 in a turf sprint after being bet down from 8-1 to 4-1 and now starts for the lowest level in his career. (5) Air Show was a winner last time in a $20,000 claimer. (6) Trash Talker returns from a June layoff after two starts at Monmouth following a win in a $25,000 race where he was taken. (7) F F Rocket comes back from a March layoff when he was a winner for a $20,000 tag.
5th race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (2) Magic Eight Ball (B) should benefit from experience gained in her two prior starts which includes a third in her debut at Belmont as the favorite and now moves from dirt to turf. (4) Style Points will maker first start for the Clement barn as the well-bred daughter of a mare that was a graded stakes winner on the turf. (1) Purloin is the first foal from an unraced mare that sold for $400,000 back in April indicating that she must have been both fast and good looking at the sale. (3) Channel Loop is by an excellent turf sire and a dam that has produced three winners from three to start.
6th race [Clm 25000, 7F), 1 mi] – (7) Quickflash (C) was bet down from 9-1 to 7-2, pressed the pace and finished second after getting claimed from his last two starts. (5) Two Thirty Five was a front-end winner for a $20,000 tag in what was the 14th win of her career. (8) Beachwalker was second for $20,000 two races back and then moved up to a spot that was too hard. (1A) Allaboutthemoney has been racing at tracks around the Mid-Atlantic area and may be getting some class relief in this spot.
