1st race [Md Sp Wt, 7F] – (3) Pentathlon (B) was last seen in October when he ran third in his second start which was behind a pair of Hot List horses. (8) Rolling Along had the lead in the stretch after pressing the pace in his debut and finished second as a heavy favorite at Woodbine. Blinkers on and first-time Lasix. (1) Trulli Warrior has fast workouts showing as he makes his first start for Todd Pletcher and China Horse Club. (5) Commander of Truth pressed the pace and was third the entire race last month which was his first start of the year.

3rd race [Alw 50000s, 1 1/8 mi TURF] – (11) American Grant (D) had an excellent appearance in the paddock before the race as a longshot that took late money dropping from 49-1 to 27-1 which is an unusual betting pattern. (6) Yo Daddy was a winner at Keeneland in April and got claimed for $50,000 by Linda Rice who travels to Kentucky to find horses to bring back to New York. (5) Addicted to You used a late rally to finish a close third in a starter allowance at Aqueduct in his first start of the year. (4) Victors Valiant just missed the win by a nose last time out in the same race as the Addicted to You.

4th race [Alw 50000s, 7F] – (11) Leftembehind (B) broke slowly, then had to race wide in both turns, and managed to make up ground while rallying into a slow pace. (9) Lucency was claimed for $40,000 two races back at Aqueduct and came back in a starter allowance and got caught right at the wire after having the lead. (6) Own the Field has been racing at Oaklawn Park where last time he had the lead and got beaten by a nose in a $40,000 claimer. (5) Proven Hope will cut back in distance after a series of good performances at this level.

8th race [Alw 110000 N1X, 6½ F] – (7) Be the Boss (D) was bet down from 6-1 to 5-2 and had to try and rally on a speed favoring track. He has been off since April when he bled in that race. (8) Eliminate (B) broke slowly and then had to race seven-wide. He will now drop down after three stakes races. (1) General Partner will make his first start of the year after finishing second in the Champagne (G1) and sixth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile after setting the pace. (6) El Capi was an impressive winner of his first start back in December by more than nine lengths with a 99 Beyer Speed Figure as a 2-year-old.

Best bets Leftembehind (4th); Be the Boss (8th). Best value: Pentathlon (1st); American Grant (3rd).
