Trainers Cherie DeVaux and Ignacio Correas IV put their Breeders’ Cup prospects through main track works Saturday morning.
Working for DeVaux were Vahva (PNC Bank Filly and Mare Sprint) and Cagliostro (Big Ass Fans Dirt Mile), together in :59.80 for 5 furlongs; Pyrenees (Classic), a half-mile in :47.20 in company with Stage Raider; and More Than Looks (FanDuel Mile Presented by PDJF), a half-mile in :47.60 on his own.
Correas sent out Didia (ARG) (Maker’s Mark Filly and Mare Turf) for 6 furlongs in 1:15.40 and Mufasa (CHI) (Dirt Mile) for a half-mile in :48.60. (Click here for a video of Mufasa’s work.)

Also working 5 furlongs on the main track was Nakatomi for trainer Wesley Ward. Breezing in company with Chi Town Lady, Nakatomi was clocked in 1:01.80.
Working half-miles on a turf course labeled as good were trainer Chad Brown’s duo of Carl Spackler (IRE) (:50.40) and Chili Flag (FR) (:50.60), who went together with a final quarter-mile in :23 for the Mile.
Trainer Charlie Appleby sent out six runners, including three with designs on the Breeders’ Cup, for half-mile works on the turf.
His Maker’s Mark Filly and Mare Turf possibles are Cinderella’s Dream (GB) (:49.60) and Beautiful Love (IRE) (:52). The former worked in company with Star Guest (GB) and the latter with Musical Act (IRE). Juvenile Turf hopeful Al Qudra (IRE) worked in :52.80 in company with Cavallo Bay (GB).
Trainer Brad Cox’s Juvenile Fillies Turf prospect, Destino d’Oro, was timed in :51.60 working on his own.
