1st race – (9) Lady Claypoole (C) dropped from 7-2 to 5-2 then weakened in the stretch of a longer race. Finds a winning spot here. (2) Best Performer has blinkers off and can complete the exacta. 6th race – (8) Hurricane Debbie has been away since January but is training smartly for her return. (9) Rum Runner Ready moves into the Maker barn and is a threat to reel off another win. 7th race – (1) Searcy was fifth in a troubled debut and can work out a better trip from the rail. (5) Stronghold was a game second in his debut and looks like the one to fear. (2) Mo’ Spresso is worth a look in his debut. (11) Blown Cover could turn out to be a good one. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place.  Exacta box: 1-2-5-11.

9th race – (1) Shooters Shoot was claimed by Diodoro and should benefit from a ground-saving trip. (4) Greener Pastures should perk up on dirt. (2) Heartbreaker has speed and looks dangerous here. (5) Wind of Change will find the going easier here after running in a stakes. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-5.
