1st race – (2) Singsational was fourth in a similar race at Oaklawn and should get the job done here. (7) Anajuliaforever may perk up on dirt. (5) January Jubilee has late speed and merits attention. (3) Mitole’s Legacy comes off a nice maiden win. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-7. Doubles: 2-3-5-7 with 1-3-5-6.

2nd race – (5) Mitwajid seems ready for a top effort at first asking. (3) Johnny Come Lately could be another fast one for Ward. (6) Predecessor is showing good signs in the morning. (1) Sing Sing is worth a look from the rail. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-5-6.

4th race – (4) Perliano takes a big class drop and should work out a winning trip. (7) Flash of Genius should improve on dirt. (2) Supercool fits in nicely here. (5) Campton should be a threat at this level. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place.  Exacta box: 2-4-5-7.

6th race – (6) Bedazzle ‘Em (C) was bet down from 3-1 to 2-1 and settled for third after a wide trip. Can make amends here. (3) Claire’s Jete showed speed in her debut and may hang on better here. (1) Philanthropy may improve on Lasix. (5) Bolt’s Broad is long overdue for a maiden win. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place.  Exacta box: 1-3-5-6.

8th race – (7) Next turned into a monster at the end of last year and can resume his winning ways here. (3) Red Run should be effective at this distance. (5) Classic Causeway could be hard to catch on the front end. (6) Masqueparade comes off a win at the distance and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6-7.
