1st race – (5) Red Flag has won two in a row and can make it three off the Glatt claim. (6) Skinner was second in a Grade 3 stakes and cannot be ignored. (4) Navy Man may find smooth sailing here. (9) Dothraki was a game winner at Los Al for Baffert and will be a factor here.
2nd race – (1) Stay and Scam will be helped by a rail trip at this distance. (3) Just Nails should be closing quickly at the end. (4) Twirling Queen should be part of the pace and may hang around until the end. (6) Kissed by Fire looks like the one to catch.
3rd race - (1) Hot Girl Walk seeks a third straight win and seems best here. (6) Rizzkleberry Rose looked good breaking her maiden. (7) Grateful My Love got off to a poor start and closed belatedly. Deserves a second chance. (4) Pavel Is Appealing won her debut nicely.
4th race – (10) Chasing Liberty had a rough trip last time and will be well-suited by more ground. (5) Scipio has a string late kick and will be dangerous here. (1) Sabertooth missed by a head and belongs in the exotics. (12) Ivan the Great could shine in this field.
5th race – (7) Speedy Wilson looked good in a maiden win and gets the nod here. (2) Got’m Cot’m was a neck behind the top pick and should ne the main threat. (4) I’m a Bad Boy seeks a third straight win and cannot be overlooked. (3) R Heisman should thrive back on dirt.
6th race – The Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G1) - (7) Whistlejacket has run in three straight Group 1 races and didn’t finish worse than second. Gets top billing here. (8) Ecoro Sieg won both of his starts in Japan and will be a major threat. (12) Ides of March enters in sharp form. (10) Governor Sam could be hard to catch here.
9th race – The Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) - (10) Chancer McPatrick is undefeated and should get plenty of pace to chase. (4) Ferocious had excuses in his last two tries and seems set for a big effort. (1) East Avenue should be the pacesetter from the rail and may not look back. (7) Gaming is unbeaten for Baffert and cannot be discounted in this field. 10th race – The Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) - (5) Zulu Kingdom is 3-for 3 and can work out a winning trip here. (11) New Century has a strong closing kick and looms as the main rival. (10) Mentee may have found a home on turf. (4) Al Qudra had a tough trip when second to New Century and merits consideration.
