st race – (8) Lunar Impact should appreciate a stretchout to a mile. (2) Bolt’s Broad closed fast for second and gets Prat here. (4) Night Blue could be an option in her U.S. debut. (5) North East Star had a bad trip last time and could atone in this field.

nd race – (10) Clooney looks best with the class drop into a claimer. (1) Group Hug will be well-suited by the added distance. (5) Smiling At Val may be due for a better effort. (2) Sippin N Kissin should get some attention.

rd race - (8) Beneficial is a firster from Baffert who seems set for a good showing. (9) Stay Hot was third in his debut and can be closer today. (4) Wine Me Up is another Baffert firster with some appeal. (10) Final Boss seems on edge for a nice effort.

th race – (8) Petesoldfashioned was a strong second in his debut and graduates today. (9) Red On Sunday can make his presence felt here. (3) Son of a Goat can contend in this field. (1) Capo Luigi might take a step forward off his dirt debut.

th race – (3) Donner Lake has been no worse than second in his last three starts and gets top billing here. (2) California Bay ran into trouble last time and deserves a second chance here. (5) Worse Read Sanchez should pose a stretch threat here. (6) Bravestone will be part of the early pace and can last for a share.

th race – (1) Divine Armor seems ready for a bounce back effort here. (7) Dr. Venkman won his debut easily and will be the main threat. (2) Navy Man  could find smooth sailing in this field. (8) Giver Not a Taker was second in a stakes and cannot be discounted.

th race –  The Del Mar Mile (G2) - (4) Exaulted was freshened after four straight wins and is training sharply. Looks like the one to beat. (5) Balnikhov closed quickly for second in the Eddie Read and will be the main threat. (9) Twist will be a factor if he can overcome the outside post. (1) Du Jour might benefit from a rail trip.

th race – The Torrey Pines (G3) - (9) Faiza lost for the first time in six career starts last time but can bounce back here. (10) Ceiling Crusher could return to her winning form here. (3) Flying Connection should respond to a turf-to-dirt switch. (6) Anywho may emerge as a contender in a return to graded stakes company.

th race – The Green Flash Handicap (G3) - (8) Motorious  should work out a winning trip in this field. (5) Beer Can Man missed by a head in a game effort and will be the key rival. (6) Lane Way will be dangerous on his best try. (3) Turn On The Jets has enough speed to be a force here.

th race – The Pacific Classic (G1) - (9) Arabian Knight needed his comeback race in the Haskell and seems on edge for a much better effort here. (1) Geaux Rocket Ride won the Haskell and is highly capable of another winning effort. (10) Piroli had trouble in a prep for this and should be on edge here for a strong effort. (5) Defunded was hurt by a wide trip last and can revert to top form today.

th race – The Del Mar Handicap (G2) -  (10) Gold Phoenix won this race last year and can make it two in a row here. (9) Planetario should thrive at the distance. (6) Offlee Naughty has the kind of late kick that will be effective here. (2) Crosby Beach should appreciate the added ground.
