1st race – (3) Warlord Cruzan steps up a level after a win and a claim but still looks best. (5) Peja Du should thrive at this reduced level. (8) Courageous Copper should be part of the early pace and can last for a share. (1) The Great Cesar is worth a look here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-5-8. 2nd race – (3) El Terreno won easily on synthetics and should handle turf here. (7) Fairhopecurly could work out a good trip in a small field from the outside post. (2) Bubbly Champagne moves over to turf and should be well-suited by turf. (6) Happy World fits in nicely here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-7. 4th race – (4) Dollar Liberty drops into a claimer and should have a class edge over these. (7) Jigsaw drops a notch and looks like the one to fear. (3) Dynamic Empire is an interesting first-time starter.  (6) Echo Lane could be a factor at this level. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-7. Exactas: 4-7 over 3-6 and 3-6 over 4-7. Doubles: 3-4-6-7 with 1-4-5-6.

5th race – (5) Therapist has been racing in graded stakes and gets some class relief off a freshening. (1) Runningwscissors will benefit from a rail trip. (4) Uno Tiger may roar back to top form on turf. (6) Rock the Stars should be closing quickly at the end. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place.  Exacta box: 1-4-5-6.

7th race – (3) Time to Dazzle tired in a stakes but should return to her winning ways here. (7) San Pantaleo was a front-running maiden winner last time and may not look back here. (10) Refugiada moves to turf and is worth a look. (9) Whispering Sea looks like a stretch threat in this field.  Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-7-9-10.
