1st race – (4) It’s a Gamble was sharpened in a sprint and should respond to a class drop and stretchout. (2) Speedy Hans missed by a head and may emerge as the main competition. (7) Over the Channel was third behind Speedy Hans and should be a factor here. (6) Sonic Speed will be a stretch threat here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-6-7.

3rd race – (6) Certain (B) was switched to turf and finished a good second while being claimed by Sisterson. Should turn in a better effort back on dirt. (3) Run Cory Run put in a strong work for his debut and should be a main threat. (2) Emperor’s Appeal rallied belatedly in his debut and cannot be ignored here. (4) Big Data tired in the final furlong of his debut and finished second. Is worth a long look here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-6. Doubles: 2-3-4-6 with 2-3-4-7.

4th race – (3) Kanthari is working sharply for his debut and seems ready for a winning effort. (4) Cajun Puzzler had useful comeback race and should be in better shape for this start. (7) Papa Jojo should make a smooth switch to turf. (2) Allen Diggs looks like the one to catch here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4. Exactas: 3-4 over 2-7 and 2-7 over 3-4.

7th race – (4) Prince of Iron returned from a layoff with a good effort and should take a step forward here. (2) One America was second at Laurel and should be the main rival. (3) Bird Wildcat will appreciate a return to dirt. (6) Double Play King was second last time and figures to be a key contender here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4. Exactas: 2-4 over 3-6 and 3-6 over 2-4. Doubles: 2-3-4-6 with 3-4-6-8.

8th race – (6) Tall Girl was a nice maiden winner and can make it two in a row here. (3) Irony should make a smooth transition to turf. (8) Miss New York can make her presence felt in this field. (4) Riding Pretty seems set for a solid try. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-6-8.
