st race – (3) Watch It has been trying to get into a turf race. Gets the chance here and should shine. (4) She’s the One should be well-suited by the stretchout to a mile. (5) On Alert may be dangerous despite the lengthy layoff. (2) Breaker of Chains can be a threat in the final furlong if there’s no rust after a long layoff.

nd race – (6) Foxburg is a firster from Mott who seems ready for a strong effort in his debut. (5) Summonyourcourage fizzled on Tapeta but should rebound here. (3) Kentucky Joker had a bumpy trip when third as a favorite and deserves a second chance here. (8) Bourbon Resolve was fourth in his debut and can move forward following a bullet work.

(7) Ready for the Lady was a Grade 3 stakes winner in his last turf race and is worth a close look. (8) Henley’s Joy returns to turf and could perk up. (10) Marwad should be a main contender in this spot.

th race – (6) Keeper of Time won her last start on Tapeta and seems primed for a big effort after running in a graded stakes. (3) Café Society turned in two good tries on a synthetic surface and looks like the main rival. (7) Mozay should be a factor in the final furlong. (2) Love Her Lots was a solid winner over the course and should be in the picture again.

th race – (4) Axthelm returns to turf where he just missed in a graded stakes and looks like the one to beat in this field. (2) Chasing the Crown has not raced since an impressive maiden win at Churchill Downs but is prepping nicely for his comeback. (9) Tiz a Prince could be tough to catch in this spot. (1) Double Clutch has been racing in graded stakes and will appreciate the class relief.

th race – La Prevoyante Stakes (G3) - (4) Beside Herself owns a victory at this marathon distance and deserves top billing. (2) Personal Best was third in a stakes moved to Tapeta and will be even tougher back on turf. (1) Lisheen will benefit from a rail trip in this field. (5) Adventuring has enough speed to be a major contender here.

th race – (3) Ramsey Solution won impressively over the course and should be able to handle this field. (1) King Cause didn’t fire in a graded stakes on turf but should perk up on Tapeta. (10) Steady On will be a key threat if he can work out a good trip from an outside post. (5) Wolfie’s Dynaghost won this race last year and can author an encore.

th race – The Inside Information Stakes (G2) - (4) Obligatory was too far back to be a factor in the Breeders’ Cup but can rebound in this spot. (1) Famed is on the upswing and should be the main rival. (7) Maryquitecontrary was a sharp stakes winner over the course and cannot be overlooked. (3) Colorful Mischief was a wide second to Maryquitecontrary and could be more formidable here.

th race – The William L. McKnight Stakes (G3) – (11) Red Knight disappointed in his last few starts but has been freshened and should be ready for a good effort. (7) Channel Maker makes his first start at the grand ‘ol age of nine and has a ton of back class, but has struggled over this course. (4) Abaan has plenty of speed and could be tough to catch in this field. (6) Temple has been alternating good and bad tries and is due for a good one.

th race – The Fred Hooper Stakes (G3) - (1) Miles D has not raced since February but seems on edge for a winning effort here. (5) Hoist the Gold was under consideration for the Pegasus World Cup and should find this spot considerably easier. (3) Mish can control the early pace and may prove hard to catch. (9) Endorsed was a sharp winner last time and can have a big say in the outcome.

th race – The Pegasus World Cup Filly and Mare Turf (G3) - (9) Shantisara disappointed last time at Keeneland but has enough back class to perk up and post a winning effort. (3) Wakanaka beat Shantisara last time and will be her main rival in this spot. (2) Dalika won nicely on the front end and will be a main contender here. (10) Bay Storm gets Dettori and should work out a good trip.

th race – The Pegasus World Cup Turf (G1) - (3) Atone won impressively last time, adds Irad here and should be tough to beat. (4) Hurricane Dream ships in from Europe and can be a major force in this field. (12) City Man is talented enough to land in the winner’s circle but drew a tough post. (6) Lady Speightspeare is a mare with enough talent to figure in the outcome.

th race – The Pegasus World Cup (G1) - (10) Cyberknife did not draw a great post but has the kind of tractable running style to help offset it. If he can avoid significant ground loss, he should be able to close out his career with a victory. (5) Defunded ships in from California off a pair of stakes wins for Baffert, who has a great track record in this stakes. Should be the main foe. (1) Proxy posted a breakthrough win in the Grade 1 Clark and will be battling to the finish if he can repeat that effort. (6) Art Collector has plenty of speed and can hang around until the end on a speed-favoring track.
