1st race – (5) Glossy Life was a wide third last time and should get a better trip with the addition of Lasix and blinkers. (2) A Palace for Mom might wake up in a claimer. (3) Bury the Lead flopped in a sprint. Fits better here. (7) Mi Amore can sneak into the picture late.  Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-7.

4th race – (6) Castellana (C) was bet down from even money to 3-5 but tired in the final furlong and finished third. Should win off the Breen claim. (1) Fontina was a game second last time and looks like the one to fear. (4) Anna After Midnite may fare better on dirt. (7) Platinum Rocker was second last time and should be a contender once again. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-6-7. Doubles: 1-4-6-7 with 2-3-5-11.

5th race – (2) Delahaye comes off a sharp maiden win and looks best here. (5) Party On Girl had a troubled trip last time, which was back in June. Has raced well off a long layoff before. (11) Tamarindo will welcome a return to turf. (3) Bramble Boy may get rolling at this level. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-11.

7th race – (2) Skip the Line (B) overcame trouble to finish second last time. Makes amends here. (6) Princetown may fare better on a dry track. (5) Bail Us Out should prefer the two-turn distance. (7) Tuscan Gold had a miserable trip in his debut and can improve off that here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place.  Exacta box: 2-5-6-7. Doubles: 2-5-6-7 with 3-4-7-8.

8th race – (4) Henley’s Joy rallied to finish a close fourth against better company. Should work out a victory here. (3) Cyber Ninja figures to be a factor in the final furlong.  (8) Spy Novel has been away since April but seems set for a sharp try. (7) Meyer fits in nicely here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-7-8.
